Multilevel co's & college kids ... ???

College kids are often strapped for money - have you been approached by multilevel companies to try to make money? Have you tried it? Stories??? Friends' tales? (good or bad). I'm seeing some kids approaced by co's like ACN (phone) with "opportunities." Am concerned.

Any comments?

What's a multilevel co.? Is it like a pyramid scam?

Yes. You pay money to learn the ropes, get the "info", get "in" and then you sell sell sell and recruit others ... you get a cut of the sales and a further cut of your recruits' sales....and a community of people cheering for you or so it seems when you sign on...

If you have to pay money to get in, steer clear. That's my opinion anyway. There are plently of work-study jobs, off-campus jobs, etc that you don't need to get mixed up in any of that.

steer clear of these
