I have taken the ACT 3 times, and some colleges I am applying to want all of the scores. I have gotten my top score on all 4 sections on the final sitting while the other two sittings were in 8th and 9th grade and received lower scores. How do colleges verify whether I send all my scores? Do I need to send all 3 since the latter 2 are from 9th and 8th grade?

ACTs or SATs taken to identify gifted children (like Duke TIP) are exempt from that requirement. Presumably that’s why you took it in 8th grade. If that was NOT the reason you took it in 9th you need to send the grade. A 9th grade ACT lower than your current one won’t reflect poorly on you.

OK yeah I took them for some Johns Hopkins thing, thank you!
