Multiple Calculators. Problem?

This might be a stupid question.

I plan to use two calculators concurrently on the Math Level 2 Test. One's a graphing calculator and the other's a scientific one. I am slow with the graphing calculator so I'll only be using it on a few, select problems. For the rest of the questions I'll be employing my scientific calculator. Just wondering: Is there a rule against this?

I feel it's nothing to worry about but I just wanted to make sure.

Thanks in advance!

I used 2 calculators on the Math II test without a problem.

^ Thanks! :)

^For me (also took math 2), the administrator said I had to put one calculator on the floor. I couldn’t have both on my desk at the same time.

collegeboard states that you are allowed any calculator that doesn’t have a qwerty keyboard, and i printed it out just in case my proctor asked about it. i used 2 without a problem (i also sat behind a big kid so she probably couldn’t really see, but she walked by and clearly saw and had no problem)

D: my admin. saw me before the test started, with 2 calcs on my desk and said I couldn’t use both together-this made me go much slower than usual, since I use the scientific calculator for most questions and only use the graphing for questions on functions. Should I complain… what should I do

just to update the posters on this thread: the use of two calculators is perfectly acceptable as long as you have only one on your desk at a time. i used both without problem yesterday.

good luck all you future math 2 test takers! :)

^the supervisor lady told me I couldn’t use both during the test (not even one at a time). I e-mailed CB about it yesterday b/c this slowed me down and is against the rules! She said the one I left on the ground is a back-up only (couldn’t use it if my other one wasn’t broken) SO DUMB

^My supervisor mentioned that too. I almost got into an argument with her. So I chose my graphing calculator, which I borrowed from my cousin and had never used before.

^^ that’s strange. your invigilator most probably wasn’t very aware of the rules regarding multiple calculators.

I know, I was so angry but didn’t want to get into an argument with her, in case she got mad at me and reported me or something. I wrote to CB so I should be getting a response soon.
