Can we create two commonapp accounts (with different email addresses)...? will that lead to any sort of trouble?
Please do suggest.

Why would you do that? You can have 10 different versions for 1 account.

Yes you can. I had two CommonApp accounts (even used the same e-mail!) and no problems whatsoever.

I signed up for a second account because I forgot my username for the first account and by the time I found the link to request a reminder of my username, I had already opened the second account. Then I requested the username/password reminder, out of curiosity which username I would be reminded of, and the e-mail I received said something along the lines of "The following accounts are registered for this email address:" and then it listed both of my accounts.

OK, I just tried to sign up for two accounts again and apparently CommonApp has made some changes since last year:
It recognized that I already had an account when I signed up twice with the same e-mail and even when I used a different email ("A duplicate account exists with the same name, date of birth and ZIP. Your password has been emailed to the email address on file.") They also relocated the 'request username/password' conveniently next to the sign in field.

Looks like you cannot have two accounts, unless you use e.g. a different name. Can your name be spelled in several different ways in English? Mine can, and I just tried opening a new account with an alternative spelling of my family name and CommonApp accepted that.

i opened another commonapp account with the same first name, last name and date of birth but with a different email address...i have already sent my applications to 3 colleges with the new account and 1 of them has even downloaded the supplement.

Will i face any problems later?

I don't think so actually...

I second Other_Guy. Why should anyone care how many accounts you have?
