I was accepted to both Duke and Harvard, and waitlisted at Brown (I know Duke isn't an ivy, but I'm just throwing it in for the heck of it). I've withdrawn from the waitlist at Brown, but I'm having a hard time deciding between Duke and Harvard. Anyone else deciding (or decided already) between ivy acceptances?

Accepted to Harvard, Stanford, Brown and Swarthmore...I chose Harvard, because I already go to school in the area so I'm familiar with it/have friends nearby and it's got the top programs for what I want to study...If you're choosing Harvard though, better get in in quick because they told me it was due 5 p.m. yesterday and then they're starting to go through the waitlist! Good luck with the decision making!

Accepted to Cornell, Dartmouth, Penn and Stanford. I'm going to Stanford this coming Fall, I chose based on weather (from Florida), family pull, financial package, and overall academic fit. It was a very tough decision for many reasons however, and ultimately Stanford just beat out Cornell and Dartmouth (there's always grad school, right?)

Harvard, Columbia, and Brown . . .
after agonizing, I picked Harvard yesterday over Columbia . . .
and now have a bit of buyer's remorse . . .

are you guys all transfers?

Yeah, I think all of the people who've posted thus far are transfers...

Don't! Transferring to Harvard was the best thing that ever happened to me. It's going to be an incredible ride.

Yeah seriously. I transferred OUT of Columbia. Harvard will be much more welcoming than Columbia, which I feel is not the most friendly transfer environment (no common dining hall, bad housing, etc)

Accepted to Cornell and Penn...actually, I may still be at BU if Penn financial aid does not work out

Thanks for the support, Hanna, slipper1234.

I'm definitely still excited about the place, maybe it hasn't sunk in yet . . .
