I was wondering if any of you have taken the following CLEPs and can elaborate on difficulty, especially regarding self-study. Also would appreciate recs on any superb study aids that cover the breadth of the test (not a fan of buying five books for one test).

My son took the Micro exam last fall and scored 72/80. The materials he used are listed here:
[Degree Planners - CLEP® Study Plans](<a href=“DegreePlanners.com is for sale | HugeDomains”>DegreePlanners.com is for sale | HugeDomains) I highly recommend Microeconomics Demystified…there are a few errors in it here and there, but they are pretty obvious. It’s a great overview for folks who haven’t had economics before: Quick read, easy to understand, fast way to get a foundation…and it’s inexpensive!

I scored a 64 on it. I used instantcert flash cards and studied for 14 hours. I thought it was a tough test and I was surprised I did as well as I did on it.

Macroeconomics:

I scored a 53 on it. Also, a tough exam. I used the same method of study, instantcert flash cards for 14 hours.
