I've had a few people tell me that once you take the test 3 or 4 times, the scores are averaged into one. Could someone give me a quick answer as to whether or not this is true?

Thanks in advance

Not true. However it’s probably not a good idea to take the ACT more than 4 times anyway. Good luck :)

No, but taking the test mutiple times will not benefit you one after another.

4 max. 3 is ideal. Also, when you sign up for the ACT do not fill out any college or preference information. By doing this you unknowingly notify all the colleges of every exam you have taken. Also, on the common app or whatever app you are taking, if you didn’t report the scores before, just list your best score or if your school superscores, your best individual scores.
