I took my SAT IIs several times. I took SAT bio 3 times, SAT spanish twice, SAT math II once, and SAT chem once. I understand that cornell does not allow score choice but will my taking SAT IIs many times hurt my chances? I know schools like Dartmouth encourage sending all scores bc they like to see improvement in your schools, but will cornell do the same? And what does it mean, “cornell considers the highest scores?” Does that mean my bad scores wont hurt my chances?
Correct. They use your highest scores if you’ve taken the same test more thsn once.
At this point, it is what it is; it’s not like you can change anything. While the scores won’t hurt your chances, there will possibly be a raised eyebrow or two when they see that you took bio 3 times. Hopefully the balance of your application will add more texture as to what makes you you so that the AO’s takeaway is not that this applicant is a grunt who has nothing better to do on a Saturday. Good luck.
