Multiple SIR?

Can you submit multiple statements of intent to register to multiple UC's? Is there a penalty if you decide not to go the rest after you have made up your mind?

I'm not sure if there is a penalty or not, but you would certainly lose the $100 you submit with each SIR.

I don't think there's a penalty, and people typically submit an SIR while waiting for a school that releases admissions decisions after the deadline (like USC)

do we have to decline? if we dont want to go to a school or can we just leave it alone?

Not responding by the deadline is the same as declining the offer. Declining the offer at an earlier date should stop further communications that haven't already been processed for mailing (You may still continue to receive information for a week or so because you were still undecided when the information for the mailing was pulled).
