Like i heard that track does not have as much as a time commitment than other d1 sports plus in high school i do three sports including other activities with school work and i still have a social life</p>

<p>It’s doable, but you need to be highly motivated and crazy good. My son’s HS friend and classmate just finished playing his freshman season as a starter for ND in the March Madness tourney… and four days later, he got the nod in the baseball team’s home opener as the starting pitcher - fanning 5 of the 7 batters he faced, and reaching 94 mph on th radar gun. He’s also A/B student.</p>

<p>Any D1 program (track included) is going to want 20 hours per week from you during season. Not including training room, meetings and ‘voluntary’ service stuff.</p>
