Multivariable Calculus

This year, I am in Multivariable Calculus at my high school. The way my school typically conducts the class is as a half-credit course every other day because it is a college semester course stretched into a year-long curriculum.

However, this year, I am the only student taking the class, so I just meet with my teacher once a week to get the week's work. It isn't considered "independent study" on my transcript, nor is it an AP class or honors, and nor do I receive any college credit for taking it.

How will schools see this when they see it on my transcript? Would I have been better off taking AP Stat instead of Multivariable Calc for the AP credit/weighting for college (my school doesn't weight)?

I imagine if they see you're taking this class after having taken calculus, they'll realize you're taking as challenging a curriculum as possible (which is what really matters). AP Stat isn't that hard, so I wouldn't worry.

Multivariable calc >>>>>>>>>>> AP stat, though I like statistics.

I took Calc 3 (multivariable calc) at a state university. I just got my transcript back and it says "Introductory College Math" >_<
