Mun

Which conferences are you guys going on?

Any other BosMUN or JHUMUNC '06ers?

WOW, I'm so stoked right now.

Two graduated MUNers from my school are on the BosMUN staff! One is the committee chair for the European Union Council; the other is on the crisis staff for the Palestinian National Authority Cabinet!!!!!!

Haha I just responded to my own thread. That is so pathetic.

not at those,....

UC-Berk or UMICH

ANyone know how these are run?

JHUMUNC and WAMUNC (GW)

IM GOING TO THE BROWN UNIVERSITY CONFERENCE TOMORROW!!!! IM SO EXCITED ITS MY FIRST!!!
http://www.busun.net

Is it me, or are these MUN meets just places to hang out for prep school and weathly public school kids?

Yeah, it's just you.

it is just you! so keep your negative opinions to yourself. and i am neither a prep school nor wealthy publick school kid....parochial school pour moi!!!!!!!

Turhtfully, at the MUN conferences there are generally wealthy students, but I think at regional ones you get the hicks along with the preppy kids....

greenday- how is my comment negative? sorry, i forgot kids going to catholic school don't have to pay for their education. i was looking into MUN and much of the kid posting on this site about certain tournaments and looking at those schools that do go to many of them are catholic, upper-middle class public, or prep schools. funny to see how being so liberal allows people to believe that pointing out a link between wealth and an organization is somehow bad.

first ofall YOU, im on financial aid. And most of the kids at the conference i went to were public school, so ur statement was inaccurate. and to answeer you, it is negative because it was derogatory, plain and simple. You basically said it was a bunch of rich prep school kids, when it is really a bunch of intelligent, motivated young people of varying economic backgrounds.
