<p>Hi guys. Does anyone know any colleges that specialize in museology or museum studies? Perhaps any with certificate programs in it? If so, are there some that allow a dual major in museum studies and something else? Thanks.</p>
<p>NYU immediately comes to mind. There are lots of opportunities to get involved with NY museums, and NYU offers a graduate program in museum studies, so there should be courses available to undergrads. </p>
<p>It might be smart to major in something like art history or another field for undergrad (many museum courses are in art hist departments) and then get a masters in museum studies, since I think it tends to be a graduate field.</p>
<p>I think most people major in Art History and then go to graduate school like he said :)</p>

<p>connecticut college has a good museum studies certificate program, most people in that program major in art history or archeology along with the certificate.</p>
