<p>do you need any background knowledge on music theory or composition in order to get an A in Music 15? Like what does the class consist of? Analyze history of music or do you have to know notes and scales or something like that?</p>
<p>you listen to a variety of music and you have to memorize some of them for the midterm and final. You also have to write a few concert reports.</p>

<p>no nothing like that. You just have to be able to differentiate between Mozart and Vivaldi for example. The professor will play some music during the exam and you just have to identify what it is. It is really easy and the test is multiple choice</p>
