<p>For those of you that study with music, what genre of music do you listen to when you study? I'll start off and then each person that replies please add to the count. Also next to the genre u chose, provide the top 3 artists that u listen to for that genre.</p>

<p>ummm, i listen to all sorts of music..whatever mood i'm in..sometimes i listen to npr. idk about the artists though..like i said, i just listen to whatever makes me calm and peaceful.</p>
<p>Uh, I listen to classical once in a while when I study... You know, it's really hard to admit you listen to classical music AT ALL these days, or at least at my school. </p>

<p>Disregarding the studying, out of that list the two I pick would be Hard Rock/Metal and Alternative.</p>

<p>I have no preference for music while I study. I listen to stuff from Death Metal to Classic Rock to Pop Music to Classical to Techno and everything in between.</p>
<p>Classical. It's not my music of choice on the radio, but for homework it really helps. I also like traditional Asian music, like the 12 Girls Band. Something about Asians tearing up their instruments really motivates me.</p>
<p>i don't like how they classify bands in types of "rock" and "metal"
like i listen to a lot of alternative music, and i know when a band is rock and when it's not. and while there are a lot of melodically great bands out there, they do not really deserve the title "hardcore rock" from what i hear. screamo+guitar+drums+more guitar+more screamo is hardcore rock, and at that point i just lose interest in the band.</p>
