Music anyone?

Hey everyone,
I'm from Germany and love music. Anyone here that plays an instrument or knows how the band scene is at MU? My fingers are already trembling in anxiety to tear up some stages and enjoy the flow of aggressive melodic music. Please tell me that the majority of the student body isn't into rap, hip hop, r'n'b and all that other stuff.

Thanks

Here you go Beamish...

I'm not quite sure I understand the question

but I'll take my best shot:
There are a lot of Punkish student bands that have frequent concerts at bars and other venues.
Many students also love the guitar, and so there is a lot of acoustic music
I would say miami is less into rap/r and b than most other Public Universities... and more into rock
