<p>does anyone know anything about admissions for music students in the various uc’s. in general, is it easier to apply to ethnomusicology than it is for jazz studies? also, i am applying to ucsb for music, does anyone know anything about it. is gpa important when applying for music at the uc’s. does davis even have a music dept. i have a 3.64 and about an 1800, so i think my stats are good enough for a music student. has anyone tried out at a uc for music, (ucla, irvine, ucsb etc)</p>
