I adore them. I had never heard of them, then I saw them open for Motion City Soundtrack. And FREAKED OUT. SO GOOD.

Rosarita - The Avalanche is my favorite Sufjan album. It's like 21 songs long, and all of them are songs that wouldn't fit on the Illinois album.

And Rodrigo Y Gabriela is great. Good music to drive to.

Has anyone mentioned Beirut yet?

so... I've spent a while looking up all the bands/artists I haven't heard of on this thread, and I have to say I haven't found a single one that I don't like. This will hopefully keep me busy until Thursday lol

I listen to the most random assortment of music ever. Seriously, whenever anyone borrows my ipod after they marvel at the fact I still have a mini, their first comment is always how random my collection is. Furthermore, I dont have a lot of favorite bands, since a lot of my favorite songs, I just have that song and nothing else by the artist haha. But in no particular order here are some of my favorite bands/artists:

Radiohead
Oasis
Older Coldplay
First album of Keane
Athlete
Thirteen Senses
James Morrison
A Fine Frenzy
Band of Horses
Carrie Underwood
Evanescence hahaha
Journey
Michelle Branch
Muse
Nirvana
One Republic
Queen

oh and Backstreet Boys will never cease to be amazing

and I don't like to admit it, but I do tend to find myself listening to Taylor Swift.....and I don't know why

haha, AdequateRemedy, ppl say the same about my music selection
and I listen to Taylor Swift too... but I think it's mostly because I think she's hot.

I don't listen to Taylor Swift, but I can't stop looking at her. Something about her is just so magnetic. I think it's the way she dresses...?

ETA: itsgametime, yes, haha.

Backstreet Boys are too incredible for words. Obv.
