I am currently an undergrad completing an Associates Degree, who will be applying to several four-year schools to complete a B.A. or B.M. in Music Business.

In California, I am applying to USC an CalState Northridge. While USC's program is much more comprehensive than CSUN's, it is also much more expensive. I have heard rumors that UCLA offers a music business program, but I have failed to find it on their website - anyone know anything about this?

After completion of my B.A. or B.M. I will be applying to Law School for a JD program with a concentration in Entertainment/Media/contractual law. Once again, I am faced with a dilemma.

While UCLA does not have a direct Ent. Law concentration, through researching law schools I have read that it is supposed to be very good for that field. Plus it is ranked very highly and has the resident tuition benefit since it is a public school.

USC does have a direct Ent/Media/Contractual JD concentration, but the cost factor comes up again. Altough, the Trojan network seems as if it would be indispensible to a law grad looking to practice in that particular field (or any field really), would it work to my disadvantage regarding admissions if I graduated there as an undergrad?

If there are any of you out there that are on or have gone down any of these educational or career paths, any insight or advice would be most appreciated.

What does everyone recommend that I do?
