<p>In response to a pm, I created this list of links, and will post them here to avoid a duplication of effort down the road. I'm not an "expert" in these fields. I'm just the librarian. As with the bulk of info here, it is a starting point. Selection criteria basically was the amount of responses to a particular thread.</p>

<p>Thank you so much for these links! I was wondering something about this and I can’t really find anything on conparing Middle Tenneessee State University and Belmont? Which one has a better Music Business Major?</p>

<p>You probably will not find a tremendous amount on the board on a school to school comparison. A search on CC as a whole using “middle tennessee state” searching entire post and displayed as posts as the criteria revealed these: </p>

<p>Also some isolated, non-specific mentions came up as well. You can try the same search for Belmont.</p>

<p>The “best” of these programs are the ones that have strong ties to the industry, allowing for ample exposure, networking and internship opportunities. Belmont has a strong reputation for this. Given the proximity of MTS to Nashville, I would imagine the opportunities may be similar, but not necessarily equal. You may want to contact the department heads at each. Most schools will provide a list of current students or alums that will share their experiences.</p>
