I'm interested in pursuing a career in opera, vocal performance, piano performance and/or music education. Are there any colleges/universities that have good programs? Any suggestions and views would be very helpful!
*also schools with scholarships would be helpful also! :)

You might want to post your query over in the music majors area of this forum. LOTS of knowledgeable folks there.

What about the Cleveland Conservatory? I have a friend whose daughter earned a degree in violin performance and loved it. If you want southern liberal arts school, check out Furman, which according to friends’ kids, have a 'conservatory" level program. I do know several voice majors who have been there or are there and love it.

Just an FYI…you will probably have to pick ONE of the above. At most places, you have to have one concentration in the music department…not four…or two.

Would you mean the Cleveland Institute of Music (CIM)?

I’m interested in colleges that have a combination of two of any of my interests or colleges that have strong programs in any of my interests :)
