I was wondering if anyone knew if, even if I didn't major in anything of the such, if sending a portfolio of my music compositions in with my application would affect my likelihood of being accepted. The thing is, I am almost certain that I will be majoring in something in the sciences, and thus, would like to ask if my compositions would really be relevant at all.

It would definitely be relevant. Colleges love students with diverse interests, so even if you are into science, being musically talented is a major plus. Just make sure the submission is 100% your property and not too long.

Thank you very much. They are completely original, and all about in the 4 to 7 minute range.
