<p>Yes, you can take any course in any college, including music courses which are offered through the School of Arts and Sciences.</p>
<p>The only time you might have trouble is if you're trying to get into a really popular class as a freshman. Ex: Psych 101, wine tasting... The freshman year for engineering is pretty much intro classes, but you'll have more room to take electives later on. In fact, you have to take at least 6 classes outside of engineering and sciences as a graduation requirement.</p>
