Hey all!

I often feel I'm the stereotypical asian; I play violin and piano, have decent grades and SAT, and am heavily involved with math and science extracurriculars. But I feel like the musical aspect of my application is what would make me stand out amongst all the IMO, USAMO, USABO, etc.'ers out there... yet on the other hand, people say that musical EC's aren't worth nearly as much as academic ec's. I mean I am passionate about the instruments I play, but I was also wondering if my musical involvement would be less useful as an extracurricular to top schools than my other extracurriculars.

If you want more information or anything, just let me know, but I just wanted to know if anyone has gone through the admissions process and wants to share any information about it.

Thank you all for your help!
