<p>I love black eyed peas. I know some of their lyrics are kinda strange but i think the beats are good and i love fergie's voice lol. so calming for some reason, it's so smooth.
i like a lot of variety too, and calm guitar music is one of my favorites, like jack johnson or maroon 5. i like a lot of hip hop. and techno, greenday, all sorts of things.</p>

<p>Sibelius, Bach, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Chopin, Wieniawski, Mahler, Beethoven, Brahms, Vivaldi... I adore classical music. I like John Cage's stuff too, but more on an intellectual level than an asthetic one.</p>

<p>Pertaining to modern music, my favorite artist is Beck. I'm a HUGE Beck fan. (For those of you in the know, Sea Change is my favorite album, Midnite Vultures a distant second). I also enjoy the Shins, Modest Mouse, Cake, the Postal Service, and lots of other alt bands.</p>
<p>I'm a keyboardist so I also listen to a lot of keyboard-based rock and jazz. Big fan of the B3 organ, so I worship Jimmy Smith and Jimmy McGriff. For rock keyboards, I LOVE Rick Wakeman and Tony Banks, and I keep up with Dream Theater but I've lost interest in them lately because I feel their lyrics suck so bad it's painful to listen.</p>
<p>I like Schumann all right, but not to the degree of some others. Bach, though - Bach is wonderous. <em>Bach adoration</em> I think that he is my very favorite composer - his stuff is just so gorgeous.</p>
