Music for non music major

I am a sophomore in high school and have been playing classical violin since I was 3 years old. It is a huge part of my life. I want to continue taking lessons and playing in ensembles in college, but do not want to major in music.

What academic universities have good musical opportunities for non music majors at a high level?
Would I be able to play with the conservatory or music school students even if I am not a music major?

I live in Japan and I am having a hard time searching about US colleges on my own. Please help!
Thanks

Many schools but NOT ALL will allow students to be in ensembles regardless the majors.

However, can you pay 38~65k per year? How much can you afford?

You need colleges without conservatories but a strong tradition of musicianship.
One of these is St Olaf (if your GPA is 3.75 and you have 1900-2000 SAT). Another one is Yale (if you have 2250 SAT and 4.0!) Williams - same deal academically. Lawrence University has a conservatory but I think they’re good about non majors participating.
