For you all who listen to music when you work out, what do you listen to? I really need good fast paced music when I run but I'm getting bored of my current playlists.

I used to only listen to hardcore rap when I ran lol but I've been branching out a lot.. it's really funny, the music I have to listen to when I run is a lot different than music I generally like

Some of the music I currently have on running playlists:

Shake - Ying Yang Twins
Boyfriend - Ashlee Simpson
Nasty Girl - Notorious BIG
Badd - Ying Yang Twins
Walk Away - Kelly Clarkson
Take Me Out - Franz Ferdinand
What's Your Fantasy - Ludacris
Wanna Be a Baller - Lil Troy
Pon de Replay - Rihanna
some really fast paced 'Everytime We Touch' remix

I personally like songs with heavy bass or fast pace myself, and my play list concludes
Bidibodi Bidibu - Bubbles [from Super Troopers]
Hysteria - Muse
The A La Menthe - Nikkfurie [if you have ever seen Ocean's 12, this is the awesome laser song]
Tu es fouto - Benny Benassi
Satisfaction [Club Mix] - Benny Benassi
Time - Benny Benassi
Megamix - Benny Benassi & Benassi Bros.
Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger - Daft Punk
Firestarter - Prodigy
Smack My ***** Up - Prodigy
Breathe - Prodigy
Faster Kill Pussycat - Paul Oakenfold
Tetris Happy Hardcore
24 - Jem

Spente le Stelle - Emma Shapplin
L'italiano - Angelo Venuto

I like some of Benny's stuff for working out ("Insomnia" is my personal favorite), but my favorite gym music is anything by a group called 4 Strings. Most people outside of Germany haven't heard of them, but they have a good beat and are easy to work out to--plus the melody is simple yet elegant.

My favorite workout tracks are "Jewel" and "Desire" (this "Desire" has nothing to do with U2's song).

Good luck finding recordings of these guys...they're pretty scarce in the USA.

Also recommended are the energy mix of ATB's "Humanity" (another German, but easier to find in the US) and the Mike Rizzo edit of Danielle Bollinger's "Kiss the Sky". I also really like the Solasso mix of Kirsty Hawkshaw's "Reach for Me" and Steve Angello's remix of Moby's "Raining Again". And no gym music list would be complete without Eric Prydz's "Call on Me". All the mixes are good, but the JJ Stockholm Club Edit is my personal favorite (awesome bass lick in there). Finally, there is "Raindrops" by Stunt, "Fire" by Ferry Corsten (go for the full version), and "Lonely" by Bassebeats (who I believe are British). Bassebeats is tough to find in the US.

Punk rock is loud, fast, and rhythmic. Great for running. Exactly what you're looking for. Albums for running:

The Dead Kennedys- Mutiny on the Bay
Rancid- Let's Go
The Clash- The Clash (US version)
NoFX- Punk in Drublic
Social Distortion- any album will work
The Ramones- Try to get a greatest hits album
Operation Ivy- Energy
The Buzzcocks- Singles going steady

LOL, no All For Love and All or Nothing are pretty good songs, no thanks to my friend who used to be a hardcore fan and beat all of their music into my mind.

Cause I want it all
Or nothing at all
There's no where left to fall
when you reach the bottom it's now or nowhere
