My gf has recently graduated with a B.A. in Music (no specific specialization) with two years' worth of customer experience working as a front desk worker. Currently, I'm trying to help her find ideas for what she can do. Here's what we've thought of so far:

1) Start her own cello/clarinet studio (not very steady at the moment; no requests so far from local schoolteachers)
2) Administrative Assistant, secretarial positions

We have learned to avoid staffing agencies like the plague. She wants a job where she isn't required to work too much on the weekend (if at all), pays more than minimum wage (~$11/hour) and has something like the usual 9-5 hours.

What would you suggest to someone in her situation? I have suggested that she go to grad school and maybe get an MBA, but she wants to use further education as a last resort. She does not intend on pursuing grad school at the moment.
