Music, HELP!

hello, this is my first post on this forum so please inform me if i'm breaking any rules, thanks.
I am finishing up my junior year in high school and i have played the saxophone for... 8 years now. i have also fooled around with other instruments, minor composition, and education. I have a direction of what i want to go to college for... music obviously. I'm just not sure what for and where.

I originally was looking at music education. some schools i was looking at for this: Hart School of Music at the University of Hartford, Indiana University of Bloomington, UConn, Ithaca, Belmont.

But i've recently had an interest in the business side of music... i.e. production and management. Does anyone have any helpful information on these fields? Are the jobs in said fields hard to find? do they pay well?

If business is promising then i may look into it more. I also would reallllly like to know if anyone knows any good music schools that accept a 3.5gpa, 1800 SAT (with audition obviously) that i do not have listed above? Thank you!

You may find more help in the CC Music Forum.

Of course bussiness is promising, i suggest you should focus on bussiness. But it’s just for most people, after all, music is kind of a innate thing, since i don’t know how good you are at it, i can’t judge arbitrarily. Think about it, what do you really want? Follow your heart.
Good luck!
