Hello CC!

I am thinking about majoring in Music Industry and Management at the University of Miami. If a lot of your do not know, a degree in Music, particularly music business or management, doesn't guarantee you a job at a record label, distribution center, or any other thing like that. In fact, many of today's music industry executives have no degree or maybe a marketing or puclic relations degree. UM's curriculum has several business courses in which many are geared towards the music industry. In addition, their program requires all students to minor in a business - I have chose marketing and finance. My question is that if I major in Music Industry and don't make it later, can this degree supplement for a job in the business world?
