Music Lessons at Steinhardt?

So I'm considering taking 2 credit private music lessons at Steinhardt next semester, but I'm worried that it might be too much for my schedule.

How many hours should I expect from it to take from my week(Including or excluding practicing on my own)?

Anyone know anything about this?

D is a vocal performance major. She has a 1 hour private lesson for 3 credits. She also takes 1/2 hour to 1 hour of coaching a week at her won expense. She tries to practice daily. Her voice teacher requires her to send a transcript/ analysis of her lesson each week.

A 2-credit music lesson for non-majors is only half an hour per week. Practice time will obviously vary depending on what you want to put into it. I took piano lessons through Steinhardt and the lessons were very flexible and relaxed. It’s the complete opposite of a stressful class, but I think most music lessons for non-majors would be?
