<p>are there any pianos elsewhere like res halls? if so, where are the pianos in the res halls? which bldgs? i didn't see any during orientation.</p>

<p>I want to say no (i am a music major)...the school pays for the instructors to give lessons. If anything you could probably talk to the professor and work something out on your own</p>

<p>I had this problem coming into the school too. I contacted the music department (go to their website) and posed a question. Someone replied and told me to look around the building for posted flyers about music lessons (Schoenberg). They also told me that I could find a graduate student to teach me lessons / $$$$. My contact from music.ucla.edu referred me to teachers too.</p>
