I would be enrolling in LoneStar college I was wondering if could get a A-degree in sonography but a little experiance in Music.General question can a study both?

I don’t know anything about that college, I did look up the degree requirements for sonography and I only see one elective, so I would assume that you could take one music and fit into the curriculum for sonography .

I am sure no one would stop you from taking some music classes on a non degree bases though. It’s just a matter of it you are willing to pay for them.

I also looked at the possibility of getting an associate degree in both, of course it can be done, but it doesn’t make a lot of sense to do so. there are only four or five classes that would overlap between the majors, so it would take about 4 years (126 credit hours total after double-dipping a few classes) to get both associate degrees - and you may be better off spending your last two years at a four year college completing a bachelors degree. If you really really really want to go the two associate degree route (and there is certainly nothing wrong with that) then you should probably plan on going during the summer terms, and trying to take an slight overload of classes year round so that you can complete your degrees in less than four years.
