<p>I'm an Anthro major but I would really love to pursue some self-enriching music. All the music classes are blocked off from non-majors. Are there any classes that aren't, or any groups that accept non-music majors?</p>
<p>Also looking for tutoring - maybe find a junior/senior music student to teach? For those who might know, what kinds of opportunities are out there?</p>

I’m not a music major either, but I intend to audition for a few groups myself.
You didn’t mention what instrument you play…I know for sure the symphonic band is open to non-majors. The other large instrumental ensembles (like symphony) are also open to “really qualified” non-majors as well.</p>
<p>Piano, and I’m still a beginner, so I’m not sure about joining any groups. I’m looking more to take classes and get instruction so I can improve :)</p>
