The single thing I am most fascinated with are astrophysics. It bewilders me, and I love math, science, logic, stars, and learning. However, I am also a musician and have considered getting a degree in music. I am a high school junior and 3/284 in my class. Honestly, I just want to know which one would provide me with more job oppurtunities. I also want to know which makes the most sense economically. And college suggestions for each. Also, if I choose physics, would it be a good or bad idea to minor in music.

Actual physics jobs tend to be limited in number and tend to need PhD degrees.

However, physics graduates tend to more easily adapt to some other types of jobs like finance and computer software, since their quantitative skills tend to make them more valuable than most others in such jobs (of course, CS majors will still be the first choice for computer software jobs). Carefully chosen elective courses can improve your backup options (e.g. CS courses if you want to consider computer software jobs as your backup).

You can certainly take music courses alongside a physics major.
