I am going to be a junior next year and I was wondering if I should take AP Physics 2 or band. Our band director said that we should take 4 years of band because it shows commitment. I play the flute and I am not the section leader, and I am not involved in any other kinds of music programs. Right now as a sophomore, I’m taking AP Physics 1.
I was wondering whether I should take AP Physics 2 or band (I will also be taking AP Bio, AP Chem, and AP Calc).

Lol, take physics. Most colleges could care less about “band” experience from what I understand. If you’re going to uni for physics, TAKE PHYSICS.
Just make sure you’re not to in over your head with your AP classes.
Definitely Band! Taking two AP lab sciences is quite difficult…do not add another science! Colleges are not expecting this. Take band and have a period to relax.
Do you need to take AP Bio and Chem at the same time? WHy not take one senior year?
Three AP sciences in one year??? NO!!! Stick with Band! You may also want to push off AP Chem until senior year.
I’d normally take the course that has the most meaning for you. But it looks like you are already taking courses that you think colleges want to see so that advise already does not fit the situation. You are already planning to take 2 science courses and Calc2. So why are you considering a 3rd science. Is there a function reason for your need for 3?
Also, if your reason is that it will look good for college, I’ll counter that by saying it won’t. It will look like you want to look good for college.
