I emailed the music department but received no response. I enjoy playing the drums, but I know I won't be able to lug a kit down there. Do they have practice rooms with drum kits? Can non music-major students use them?

i’d like to know that too. do they have piano practice rooms for non-major students to use?

I’d like to know this information also for piano practice rooms.

I know that there are pianos in the recreation rooms of the resident halls (at least in San Miguel and Manzanita)

ahhh, i heard some ppl play the piano in a house next to mine in manzanita. i thought a student had a piano in his/her dorm room lol. but my house didn’t have a recreation room tho =(

they have practice rooms, at least for majors; see http://www.music.ucsb.edu/PDF/QUICK%20REFERENCE%20GUIDE%20FOR%20USEFUL%20%20INFORMATION.pdf

I suggest calling the person listed as the contact person for practice rooms directly. If they’re on vacation, call the Music Dept.

One of the study rooms in De Anza has a piano in it (one of the first rooms when you walk up the stairs…)

No one knows for sure if they have a drum kit on campus? Man. :/
