Music Producer with computer engineering major?

Hi this question doesn’t really apply to college exactly but if i major in computer engineering and minor in music production, do you think i will still be able to get a job in the music industry??? I want to keep an engineering major ( i originally wanted to do environmental but i figured computer engineering could apply better to music production or even movie production). But yeah, if i major in computer engineering and minor in music production would i still be able to get jobs in the industry since my engineering would somewhat apply to that field and i would have a background in it because of my minor??? thank you!!!

I guess? Computer engineering is basically electrical engineering but focused on computers. They don’t really teach you things that would be relevant to a position as a music producer beyond maybe a design project where you hook up sensors together to play sounds in cool ways.
It heavily depends on what kind of job you want in the music industry. Someone has to make speakers, editing software, IT systems, and other technology that musicians use to do their jobs. So if you define working as a software engineer at Bose as “working in the music industry”, an degree in CS or CE would be the way to do it.
