Music Program and Arts Supplement for Electronic Music

Hi! I’m a current junior but looking into the music programs for schools. I’m especially attached to Princeton at the moment, and I am considering applying to that program potentially, so I would assume I’d want to add an arts supplement, but the music part that applies the most to me is “Electronic Music,” and I honestly have no idea what that consists of. Do they solely focus on electronic music like EDM and such, or would I be able to put any music produced mostly on the computer (the music department website is not that clear about this)? Or is it all experimental stuff? If anyone has experience with the Princeton music department, can you please elaborate? If this is the wrong place to post, please let me know!!

I’m still waiting on a decision but I submitted the same supplement. I assumed it encompasses any form of music produced or arranged on a computer. I do hip-hop/trap and ambient production, so I just ended up submitting the tracks I was the proudest of. While I have no idea if this is what Princeton is looking for, it did end up getting me accepted into the Music Tech programs for several other schools. Hopefully, that helps or at least provides some insight into how others approached it?
