music program at Davidson

<p>Could anyone give me input about the music program? My son plays (contemporary) drums and piano (classical). He's not interested in conservatory style music program. What is your experience like at Davidson/music?</p>

<p>His other interest is writing, and I see that Davidson has a very strong department for that...</p>

<p>It’s a great program – not conservatory at all, but plenty intense if he is a serious musician. great facilities. Lots of music activity at all levels.</p>
