Music Programs at National Merit Schools

Hi, I'm a current high school junior looking to study choral/vocal Music Education. I recently found out my high PSAT score, which will definitely qualify me for National Merit Semifinalist and I'll likely move on and become a Finalist. Several schools give generous scholarships for NMF (and some for NMSF), so I'll probably mainly apply to places that give full tuition or something like that.

I'm posting here to ask about the music programs (specifically music education programs) at the schools with big NM scholarships. They are:

Public schools: U of Alabama, U of Alabama-Huntsville, U of North Alabama, Alabama State U, Auburn U [AL], U of Arizona, Southern Arkansas U, U of Central Florida, University of Idaho, Eastern Kentucky U, U of Kentucky, Louisiana State U, U of Maine, Wayne State U [MI], U of Minnesota-Morris, Mississippi State U, U of Southern Mississippi, Southeast Missouri State U, U of Nebraska-Lincoln, Cleveland State U [OH], Youngstown State U [OH], Ohio State U, U of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State U, U of Memphis [TN], U of Houston [TX], U of North Texas, U of Texas-Dallas, Texas Tech U, U of Texas-Tyler, U of Wisconsin-Oshkosh

Private schools:
Abilene Christian U, Alfred U, Andrews U, Baylor U, Birmingham-Southern C, Denison U, U of Evansville, Faulkner U, Fordham U, Harding U, Liberty U, Long Island U-C.W. Post, Oakwood U, Oklahoma Christian U, Pacific Union C, Sterling C, U of Tulsa, Wesleyan C [women only], Westminster C [UT]

If you happen to know anything about music programs at these schools, any info/opinion you could provide would be great! As a Texas resident, I'm especially interested in schools nearby like Baylor, University of Tulsa, and Abilene Christian University, but I haven't narrowed down my search at all and I'd like to hear about any of these schools.

University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music. My D goes there on a scholarship for National Merit Finalists.

Oklahoma City University gives full tuition to NMF and has an excellent voice program.

Music Industry

Many HS students change their focus of major as they explore all the options. If you find your focus changing over the next few months, keep in the back of your mind that Drexel has a Music Industry program (business track and a tech track) and Drexel offers free tuition to NMF.

Thanks for the input, everyone. Can anyone comment on Baylor or ACU?

Univ of Southern California has a great music school (Thornton) and USC guarantees a minimum half tuition scholarship to all accepted NMFs.

At USC accepted NMScholars also receive a $1,000 per year scholarship. Students MAY also qualify for other small alumni scholarships.
