I have been playing the viola for almost 7 years now and I plan on submitting a video of me playing. Does submitting a music/arts supplement to the application help at all?

It only helps if you are really, really good.
If you’re ok, but not amazing, it will hurt your app so make sure you’re playing the viola at a very high level.
