music supplements

do i have to mail it in?

i have a similar question.

although the common app already provides us with a place to put a web address…so i uploaded my visual arts supplement onto youtube.
i probably won’t mail in any more cd/dvds

I did a music supplement for penn ed and was admitted. I just did the one on the commonapp. Basically record yourself and upload it somewhere online, draft a resume, and upload a letter of rec from a teacher.

what if it happens to be winter break and you cant contact your teacher?
should i just mail it in?
and congrats on getting in

thanks. Hm, I’m not entirely sure then. Contact penn?

i havent seen my teacher in three years…he lives in a different city

i just wrote my own rec. i hope this is acceptable

You can’t write your own rec, whatd be the point of that :stuck_out_tongue: If you’re saying you wrote it and used ur teachers name, if they find our ur admission can get rescinded

my rec basically says “i have no way to reach my teacher. here is a tiny blurb about my experiences with art…i took this class, then i did independent art for three years. bye.”

since i did most of my art independently, i thought it would be okay to write my own rec.
is it possible to send it without a rec?..i rather do that.

I did a music supplement for early decision. I just recorded two pieces, sent that in with a resume, and asked my teacher to send a recommendation.

but i could also just make a CD and just send it in, right?

is there a time limit on the music?
