Hello!
I am currentry deciding on 2 different Audio Production/Engineering programs. I am looking at Belmont University and Middle Tennessee State University. They both seem to have excellent programs plus a music business program, which is important to me.
I am accepted into MTSU. This school is huge and it is big on sports, plus a huge marching band. It is also about 30-40 minutes from Nashville. I am accepted into the honors program here already too.
I am still waiting to hear from Belmont. It is a smaller Christian school in the heart of music row. I am not really religious, but it doesn’t seem like an overly religious school. Another thing I have learned about are the 60 convocation hours you need to graduate. I’ve heard many excellent things about the program and the graduates.
If anyone has any insight on either school or the programs it would greatly appreciated. Are there any major differences between the programs? I know Belmont’s music business degree is a BBA. Also, how are the atmospheres of the schools, if anyone knows!
Thanks for helping me out!
