Music Theory Placement Test

<p>I haven't done any music theory in over 10 years and never really got into any advanced instrument playing. What do you guys suggest I do to prepare? I bought 'music theory for dummies' online haha and really all i remember is the very basic stuff like notes and counts :(</p>

<p>You aren’t required to take the test, unless you’re going into music or music history… which doesn’t sound like you are based on your info. haha</p>

<p>But if you are, I found a sample test for UCSC. I couldn’t find one for UCLA, but I’m guessing they’ll be similar.</p>
