Music Theory Review for Grad School

Does anyone have a suggestion for a good online course/book to review music theory and ear training for grad school applications? I will be auditioning at a few schools that have placement exams on audition days (at least I believe they don't count towards admission) and I haven't taken any theory classes in quite a while. I'm also asking because I did my undergrad in Europe and am unsure of the level of those exams.
Any help is very much appreciated! Thanks!

PS: I apologize if there is a thread about this already but I'm new to the site and the search didn't come up with anyting...

One of my son’s potential grad schools made the following recommendations for Music Theory and Music History study (list quoted directly from the website):

1.A History of Western Music by Grout and Palisca
2.Tonal Harmony by Kostka and Payne
3.Music of the 20th Century by Simms

All 3 of these happen to be the same textbooks he used in his undergrad program at a different school, which is very fortunate!

Thanks, I’ll check those out!
