Would anyone like to recommend me some music. Maybe some stuff that you guys like that isn't so obvious. I feel like updating my ipod. I'm open to nearly anything. I'll give it a shot.

So go ahead!!! Thanks in advance!

First off, I'm going to suggest you check the Music Genome Project. Go to pandora.com and it's self-explanatory from there.

I'll just tell you what I've been listening to lately.

The White Stripes' first 2 albums, their self-titled debut and De Stijl.
Amon Tobin - Permutation (incredible music, instrumental, hard to describe)
DJ Shadow - Endtroducing (instrumental hip hop, classic record)
Beck - Odelay, Guero
Yo La Tengo - The Sounds of the Sounds of Science (experimental indie rock)
Etro Anime - See the Sound (jazzy type stuff, very chill)
Pavement - Wowee Zowee (Sordid Sentinels Edition) (indie rock)
Propellerheads - Decksanddrumsandrockandroll (funky dance music)

And on my list to buy...
A Gun Called Tension - self-titled
Tricky - Maxinquaye
The Dining Rooms - Tre
Kaito - Band Red
Aphex Twin - The Richard D. James Album
Built to Spill - Keep It Like a Secret

And here's stuff that I don't like but other people do...
The Arcade Fire - Neon Bible
Boards of Canada - Music Has the Right to Children (I like this album when I want to sleep)

My taste is even more eclectic than I let on here. If you can provide more specific likes and dislikes, I might be able to give you more specific recommendations.

Costello Music- The Fratellis

And maybe Arcade Fire.
