i was browsing through ucla's forum and saw a thread asking about people's music tastes, and it got me wondering if there are others who also share similar music tastes as me: heavily leaning towards stuff like underoath, avenged sevenfold, blessthefall, the devil wears prada, parkway drive, in fear and faith, but also artists like anberlin, rise against, radiohead, nirvana, jack's mannequin, etc.

i definitely want to go to concerts in SF, but i don't want it to be like high school, where one of my friends wants to come with me for the sake of attending a concert.

I hate last.fm. It completely f-cked up my play counts. Some of my “Top Tracks” are songs that I’ve barely listened to even once or twice, and meanwhile my favorite songs of all time don’t even show up in the list. Not to mention it completely screw up my “Top Artists” as well.

@Maharba1147 lol nice (love andrew mcmahon)
i’ll totally be up to the killers or the strokes if they come around :]

@aninvertedlove if muse ever comes around, i’ll definitely go with you if you’re up to it

but also, would any of your have qualms with rooming with someone with music tastes similar to mine? i don’t want to bother my roommate(s) but i don’t want to not play my music

I actually roomed with somebody that had pretty different music tastes from mine and we got along fine. Half the time, she’d play her music, and the rest of the time I’d play mine. My second roommate and I had more compatible music taste, but we weren’t compatible in any other way. :/

that sounds a little more reassuring… but i guess it really comes down to the other person’s tastes and personality. i hope i get roomed with someone i’ll get along with
