<p>I will be applying to some ivies this year under the Regular Decision plan. I had a question about the musical supplement. I have been playing the guitar and singing for quite some time now though I am not classically trained (but i have competed in Talent shows and placed very well) .
I have recorded a song that I sang, played, composed and wrote (country-pop) , and I was wondering if I could submit it as a musical supplement or if only trained singers and musicians could submit samples, since they ask for musical resumes and vocal abilities</p>
<p>Is your work so good that you could realistically just go to Nashville and look for work instead of going to college? Or to a conservatory?</p>
<p>If yes, then yes. If no, then probably not.</p>
