<p>what is this massive obsession with indie? i mean some of it is good, like arcade fire and interpol, but death cab? cmon, they are alright, but unbelievably overrrated</p>

<p>I don't have a problem with indie rock, people just seem to get attached to artists for a very short time then drop them. It's no different from the mainstream music, indie rock fans just think their music is special.</p>

The term "indie rock" shouldn't be taken literally, otherwise very few artists would qualify as indie (Clap Your Hands Say Yeah comes to mind).</p>
